Explore: Diana’s Bath

Tucked away in Bartlett in the North Conway area of New Hampshire is one of our favorite places to visit, Diana’s Bath. These photos are from this past summer and looking at them stirs my excitement. I can’t wait for another summer of exploration.

Diana’s Bath is a series of small waterfalls created by Lucy Brook, an area formerly an 1800s sawmill that is now protected by NH Forest Services. It is a short .6 mile hike to the base of the falls making it a great spot for young hikers.

This is a place we return to year after year, just as my parents did with me as a child. If you get a chance to visit Bartlett, also check out Echo Lake State Park. Diana’s bath is located nearby and it is one of the most beautiful state parks in all of NH. From its beach you have an amazing view of both Cathedral and White Horse Ledges, and as you bask in the sun by the lake you can imagine me clinging to the rocks for my life in my late teens when I thought rock climbing would be a good move for me. (It wasn’t.)
